Spirit AI – Sales Executive

Who are we?

Spirit AI is an Artificial Intelligence company delivering commercially robust solutions to multiple industries. Spirit AI’s flagship product is Ally, which uses AI to help organizations achieve a welcoming and more inclusive online community by combatting and removing behaviors that would otherwise diminish loyalty and damage their brand. Spirit AI’s algorithms analyze messages and conversations, classify behaviors, and minimize the daily workload of Trust and Safety teams.

Many organization’s rely on abuse reporting or keyword redaction to deliver harms protection to the community, which has very limited success.  Ally uses sophisticated technologies such as language and behavioral analysis to achieve this and provides powerful administrative and architectural features. Our clients include some of the games industry’s biggest names, for whom we process billions of messages a month.

Your role

As a Sales Executive for Spirit in North America you will have considerable responsibility to grow our business in the games and social media sector.  You will be part of high performing, self-motivated team that is assisting organizations to create safe and inclusive on-line communities. You will have a good understanding of game communities and social media.  You will be a successful, energetic salesperson that will deliver new clients, confident to engage at the most senior executive levels and with the personality to form strong trusting relationships. You will have the ability to communicate the value Spirit AI brings to organization from both operational and business perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly into the CEO
  • Developing sales strategy, tactics, plans and revenue targets
  • Creating a pipeline of opportunities
  • Developing a pragmatic and achievable sales plan
  • Seeking out key players within the target market and developing and nurturing relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities in games and social media to utilize Spirit AI’s products
  • Serving as a key business representative of Spirit AI at major conferences, trade shows and industry/networking events
  • Creating regular reports for Senior Management
  • Monitoring competitors’ offerings and prices, and adjusting strategies/plans accordingly
  • Facilitating marketing tasks and objectives of Spirit AI and occasionally taking lead on marketing projects
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Skills & Requirements 

  • Proven track record of sales achievement
  • Experience in value selling, and creating value propositions
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding drive, initiative and enthusiasm
  • Strong relationship development skills
  • Confidence in developing sales strategy and then implementing
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Good knowledge of accounts, finance and general IT
  • The personality and character to succeed in a highly motivated, fast moving, company
  • Ideally you will be located on the east coast (for the least time zone difference to the UK)
